A SONG

There are pleasures

that crush you

before them you feel like

a sick child

who’s found himself under a sudden

starry sky

yet there is not a living soul

in sight

in their wake you’re left

like an invalid

without the wheelchair

of desire

you hear yourself weeping

silently

yet what comes out is a

song
